OrHIMA Annual Meeting – Going Virtual
As you know, the Oregon Health Information Management Association (OrHIMA) had rescheduled its Annual Meeting to September 17-19, 2020. This postponement was due to COVID-19 restrictions that were in place at that time of the originally scheduled May meeting.
OrHIMA has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 updates in Oregon as we approach the OrHIMA Annual Meeting. After extensive consideration and discussion, the OrHIMA Board has decided to change to a virtual format for the meeting instead of an in-person format. We feel it is the safest path to protect the health of our members, speakers, and exhibitors.
Below are important details you need to know:
- A full refund will be given to those who registered and paid for the conference.
- To receive your refund, please click here to tell us how to refund your money. Please allow 90 days for all refunds to be processed.
- All hotel reservations will automatically be canceled by the hotel.
The OrHIMA Board recognizes that members will need continuing education and learning opportunities to meet CCHIIM requirements. The Board and Annual Meeting Team are working diligently on a plan to offer virtual education to the members in lieu of a physical meeting. We will communicate details about the virtual meeting as soon as they are available.
Again, we apologize for the inconvenience this meeting cancellation may cause. However, the health and well-being of our meeting attendees, exhibitors, and presenters are important to us. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
